Would you look at that! What have we got here... is this really happening... here comes the moment of truth. Chile is in the Copa America finals!!!!!! We beat Peru, and Uruguay, and now there is only country between us and victory... Argentina. Did you here that Jeremy, Argentina will go home with an L this saturday, and Chile will go in the history books as the first time they have ever one the Copa America. And could there be a better day than the 4th of July, celebrating American independance and Chilean victory. Asado Time!!!!! Saturday is going to be crazy, the Chileans go crazy when their is a Chile game on: shouting, honking their car horns, and throwing a party all night long that can you imagine the championship. It´s going to be HUGE! Make sure to remember that when you are eating your hamburgers and hot dogs and watching fireworks. I am sure grandpa will fire his own, you guys are gonna have a blast.
Sunday was the mission aniversary conference. We all got together to have our own Copa America, a battle between the zones to find out who has the most knowlege of the scriptures and preach my gospel. The counselor of the misson spoke, Sister Cook, and President Cook. A recent convert talked too, and Brother Quiros, someone from my last ward, Quimey. He has a missionary here in the mission before it was restored. When I was in Quimey he was inactive, never went to the church. The other missionaries were visting him, without much success. I was happy to hear that he was going to church regularly with his family. It is amazing how people can change over time. On friday we had the ward talent show. There was a good ward turnout, and a lot of funny acts. We did a funny dance and finished it off with the Harlem Shake. It was halarious, and everyone loved it. It still hasn´t rained yet, and the city is full of polution. The Area Presidency asked everybody to fast this sunday for the rain, Oh let it rain please! We also were able to teach a great future investigator, and he is really receptive. He asked us when we were going to invite him to go to church with us. He is happy to expirement and see if our church is the one, and thankfully thats all that is requiered. We are looking forward to another great week. Thank you for writing me, I hope you have a happy Fourth of July. I will be celebrating here too. I love you all, I hope you liked the pics this time. Elder Chandler
P.S. Chile is gonna win Saturday, I can´t wait.
