One more week in the CCM. How crazy? The spirit was so strong in the temple yesterday. I was one of the last ones to leave the celestial room. It was so spiritual there, so eye opening. For the session I listened to about half in English with the headphones on and the other half in Spanish. Most of the video I watched in spanish. Then I did the last part in spanish for the first time. I thought they were going to let us do it in english, but when I got up they made me do it in spanish. It was crazy. After the session in the dressing room President Allred asked me help in the baptistery, which was way cool. There was a large youth group of about 50, maybe more that had come all the way from Argentina to visit the temple. They drove for 16 hours to get there, which is their closest temple and we take the temple for granted some times when it´s only an hour or less away. I felt so close to God, and so humbled as well in the temple. I have a strong testimony of temples. It has been nice to be SO close to the temple. Today I am getting a haircut at the mall. All that beautiful hair, gone. but I´ve needed one for a while now, probably since before I left. Also we plan on going to dominos to get some awesome completos, and my companion want´s to buy some new basketball shoes because he gave the last ones away to one of the last elders in our room. On Friday we are going proselyting with the missionaries, which should be fun. On Monday we will have devotionals all day to prepare us for the mission, and then we´re off on Tuesday. It´s our last p-day. It will start to become very interesting very soon. It's time to see if I'll be able to swim or even stay afloat in this spanish world. Sounds like things are going great there. A lot of cool things are happening. Things are really going to be different by the time I get back. Love you all, Elder Chandler.
