This week was the coldest one so far, and the wettest also. It started raining tuesday, and we had to run back to the house quickly to grab our umbrellas. I love rain, but in Santiago when it rains it floods too, and so it was quite the challenge to cross the streets without getting too wet. Especially crossing the main street, which was pretty much a river, but we had to cross to get back to the apartment. That night we all entered the house soaked. Also when it rains, the temperature drops dramatically, so we were pretty cold too. When we left the next day the mountains behind our house looked amazing, covered with a fresh sheet of snow. We got a break from the rain until friday, when the rain come back in full force and stayed through the weekend, day and night. The turn out at church was lower because of the rain sunday, and we had 45 people in total. I`m going to have to stock up a little with cold gear to fight off the cold. It´s going to be a cold winter. I´m writing today and not yesterday because we went to the temple today as a district, and had to change our p-day. It was a nice clear skied day today, and it was great to be able to go to the temple and feel the spirit so strong there. You really feel out of this world and seprate from it at the house of the lord. I hope you guys can get the opportunity as well to go to the temple. It is a great place to recieve revelation and renew your covenants while helping those that cant do it themselves. We had a really good Family Home Evening on monday, and we got in a record number of lessons and lessons with members. I´m looking forward to the same success this week. We have a movie night activity saturday for the missionary work in the ward, and hopefully we can get a good turn out there and sunday as well. It´s nice to hear how things are going and all the visits from family. I love you all and wish you the best, Elder Chandler
